Website design & build
Websites built to win work.
Designed from a blank page — not dragged out of a template. Built to load instantly, read properly on a phone, and put the right thing in front of the person deciding whether to call you.
What you actually get
The whole job, not a slice of it.
Most quotes cover the design and leave you to sort out hosting, speed, the contact form and what happens when something breaks. That split is where small business websites go to die. Here it is one studio, one point of contact, one person who knows how the thing is put together.
Design from scratch
A look built around your business — your colours, your photographs, your voice. Nothing you will recognise from another site in your town.
Words that sell
Drafted for you, line-passed by you. Written so a customer knows in ten seconds what you do and what to do next.
Built for speed
Hand-built, no plugin sprawl. This studio's own site scores 100 for performance, and yours is measured the same way on the live URL.
Found from day one
Proper page structure, meta, sitemap and local search groundwork built in — not bolted on later as an upsell.
Enquiries that arrive
Forms are round-trip tested before launch. A form that silently fails is worse than no form at all.
Hosting and care
Launched onto infrastructure the studio runs and watches, with updates, backups and monitoring handled on a monthly plan.
How it runs
You approve everything before it is built.
Free consultation
Thirty minutes, no obligation. What the job actually is, what it should cost, and whether it is worth doing at all.
Design lock
The look and the words agreed in writing. Nothing gets built off a vague conversation and a hopeful guess.
Build and gates
Built, then checked against a written quality list — speed, phone width, accessibility basics, forms proven to arrive.
Launch and care
Live, listed, and kept fast. Fixes happen before you notice, not after a customer tells you.
Why this studio
One person, and that is the point.
You get the person who designs it, builds it and hosts it. No account manager relaying your words to a developer who never speaks to you. The work runs under a written quality system — the same rules on every project, whether it is a five-page site or a platform.
The studio runs a production wedding platform with payments, subscriptions, an AI assistant and around sixty live serverless endpoints. That is the ceiling of what is possible here. Most businesses need a fraction of it — but it means your site is built by someone who has shipped considerably harder things.
Honest about the limits, too: native iPhone and Android apps are not built here, large-scale online shops have not been proven at scale, and formal accessibility certification would need a partner. If your job needs one of those, you will be told at the consultation rather than halfway through.
Common questions
The things people ask first.
How long does a website take?
Most small business sites run three to six weeks from the design lock. The build itself is rarely the slow part — waiting on words, photographs and approvals is. You will know the timeline before anything starts.
Do I need to write the words myself?
No. Drafts are written for you and you line-pass every sentence before it goes near a browser. If you would rather write it yourself, that is fine too.
Who owns the website when it is finished?
You do. The domain stays in your name, the code is yours, and you get a handover pack explaining what was built. You are never locked in.
Will it work properly on a phone?
Every build is checked at phone width on a real device before launch, alongside a written quality list covering speed, accessibility basics and whether the enquiry form actually reaches your inbox.
What does it cost?
It depends on the size of the job, and quoting a number before understanding it would be guesswork. The consultation is free and ends with a real figure and a written scope.
Let's work out what yours needs.
